Working with us
Consultations, fees, documents and staying in touch.
Is the first consultation really free?
Yes. Tell us what you need and an expert will explain the process, the documents and the fees before you decide anything.
Do I need to visit your office?
No. Many clients work with us entirely over phone, WhatsApp and email. You can share documents digitally and we’ll keep you updated at every step. You’re always welcome to visit, too.
Which cities do you serve?
We’re based in Gorakhpur and work with clients across 10+ cities. Most GST, income tax and company filings are done online, so where you are is rarely a problem.
How are your fees decided?
Fees depend on the service and the size of your business. We give you a clear quote upfront, so there are no hidden charges later.
I’ve received a GST or income tax notice. Can you help?
Yes. Share a copy of the notice and we’ll review it, explain what it means and help you prepare your reply before the deadline.
Can you remind me about due dates?
Yes. You can get reminders on WhatsApp for GST, TDS, advance tax and income tax deadlines.
What documents should I keep ready?
It depends on the service. Every service page lists the documents it needs, and the checklist on our Contact page lets you tick them off before you get in touch. If anything is missing, we’ll tell you exactly what it is and where to get it.
Can you handle everything for my business in one place?
Yes. GST, income tax, company and LLP compliance, trademarks and bookkeeping are all handled by the same team, so you never have to explain your business twice.
GST
Registration, monthly returns, late fees and cancellation.
When does my business need GST registration?
Once your yearly turnover crosses ₹40 lakh if you only sell goods, or ₹20 lakh if you supply services (a few special-category states have lower limits). Some businesses must register from their very first sale whatever their turnover — for example, anyone selling goods to buyers in another state. See GST registration for the documents and process.
Which GST returns do I have to file, and when?
Most regular taxpayers file GSTR-1 (details of sales) by the 11th and GSTR-3B (a summary with the tax payment) by the 20th of the following month. With turnover up to ₹5 crore you can choose the QRMP scheme and file both quarterly while paying tax monthly. There’s also a yearly return, GSTR-9, which is compulsory once turnover crosses ₹2 crore.
What happens if I file a GST return late?
A late fee is charged for every day of delay, plus 18% yearly interest on any tax paid late — and the portal won’t let you file the next return until the pending one is done. If you’ve missed a few, talk to us: we’ll work out the total and clear the backlog in the right order.
What is the GST composition scheme?
A simpler option for small businesses: turnover up to ₹1.5 crore for goods (₹75 lakh in some states) or ₹50 lakh for services. You pay tax at a low fixed rate on turnover and file far fewer returns, but you can’t charge GST to customers, claim input tax credit or sell goods to other states. We’ll tell you whether it actually saves you money.
Can I cancel my GST registration if I close the business?
Yes. You apply for cancellation on the GST portal, then file a final return (GSTR-10) within three months of the cancellation. Until the registration is actually cancelled, returns stay due — even nil ones — so don’t simply stop filing.
Income tax
Filing your return, due dates, refunds and notices.
Do I need to file a return if my income is below the taxable limit?
It isn’t always compulsory, but it’s usually worth it. You must file anyway in some cases — for instance to claim a refund of TDS, to carry a loss forward, or after certain high-value transactions such as large bank deposits. A filed return is also proof of income for loans, visas and tenders.
When is the income tax return due?
For most salaried people, 31 July after the financial year ends. Businesses and professionals — especially those that need a tax audit — get later dates, and the government sometimes extends them. We send WhatsApp reminders before each one so you don’t have to keep track.
I missed the deadline. Can I still file?
Usually, yes. A belated return can still be filed for a limited time after the due date, with a late fee of up to ₹5,000 (₹1,000 if your total income is under ₹5 lakh). You can lose some benefits, such as carrying certain losses forward, so file as soon as you can.
Old or new tax regime — which should I choose?
The new regime is the default, with lower rates but very few deductions. The old regime can still work out cheaper if you claim large deductions such as home-loan interest, HRA or tax-saving investments. We calculate your tax both ways before filing, so you pay the lower amount.
How long does an income tax refund take?
Once your return is filed and e-verified, most refunds arrive within a few weeks, straight into your pre-validated bank account. If yours is taking longer, we can check its status and fix the usual blockers, like an account that was never validated.
I’ve received an income tax notice. What should I do?
Don’t ignore it, and don’t panic — most notices ask for a clarification or point out a mismatch in your figures. Note the reply deadline and share the notice with us. We’ll explain what it means, gather the documents and file the reply on the portal for you.
Company & LLP
Choosing a structure, registering it and yearly ROC filings.
Private limited company or LLP — which is right for me?
A private limited company suits businesses that plan to raise investment or grow quickly, and comes with more compliance. An LLP gives partners limited liability with lighter yearly filings, which suits professional firms and family businesses. Compare company and LLP registration, or tell us your plans and we’ll recommend one.
How many people do I need to start a private limited company?
At least two directors and two shareholders — the same two people can be both — and at least one director must live in India. A One Person Company (OPC) lets a single founder start alone. There’s no minimum capital requirement.
How long does company registration take?
Usually one to two weeks, depending on name approval and how quickly documents and digital signatures come in. Everything is filed online on the MCA portal, so you don’t need to visit any government office.
What does a company have to file every year?
At minimum: its financial statements (AOC-4) and annual return (MGT-7) with the Registrar, director KYC, an income tax return, and the auditor’s appointment when it’s due. A late ROC form costs ₹100 for every day of delay with no upper limit, so it pays to stay on schedule — our ROC compliance plan covers the whole year.
Can I close a company that no longer does business?
Yes. A company with no liabilities can apply to the Registrar to be struck off, once its pending filings are complete. We check what’s outstanding first so the closure isn’t held up.
Trademark & MSME
Protecting your brand and registering as a small business.
Why should I register my trademark?
Registration gives you the exclusive right to your brand name or logo for the goods or services it covers, and lets you take legal action against copycats. It also becomes an asset you can license or sell. Start with a trademark search to check the name is free.
When can I use ™ and ®?
You can use ™ as soon as your application is filed. The ® symbol can only be used once the trademark is actually registered — using it earlier is an offence.
How long does trademark registration take?
Filing takes a day or two and gives you an application number straight away. Full registration can take anywhere from several months to a couple of years, depending on objections or oppositions. Once registered, a trademark lasts 10 years and can be renewed again and again.
What is Udyam (MSME) registration, and do I need it?
Udyam is the free government registration for micro, small and medium businesses. It isn’t compulsory, but it unlocks benefits such as priority-sector loans, protection against late payments from buyers, and preference in government tenders.
